.PostedononSuddenly getting periodic 'peer is unreachable' 'peer is now lagged' 'too lagged' etc etc Any way to check what's causing this? Don't think it's the WAN connection itself, I am sort of wondering if I'm coming up against the processing power of the Pi itself. It's been fine for months but I'm wondering if an IAX connection is perhaps more taxing than a SIP connection?? The Mac Mini has 32bit EFI but is a Core 2 Duo as it's been upgraded.

I'm currently fearing this quest will be the end of me. I've burned about ten discs and flashed about thirty USB sticks (the same one obvs!) I have successfully installed Ubuntu desktop on this machine and it booted and ran like it was designed to run that OS. No option keys, no visible questions about what OS to load, just a slight delay, then fine. On first attempt.8 months ago.PostedononAlso interested in this9 months ago.PostedononI don't seem able to get an SSH backup server working due to it failing at the point of passwordless login configuration.
Enter file in which to save the key (/home/asterisk/.ssh/idrsa): pass Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase): Enter same passphrase again: Saving key 'pass' failed: Permission denied Seems to be linked to the fact that obviously I'm already logged in as root?9 months ago.PostedononThis is the script in question. At the moment it isn't! Just returns 'the text you just said is -1' and 'unable to get recognition data'. I was wondering if there was anything about RasPBX which would preclude this script working? I've installed, or I think I've installed the correct dependencies, and certainly, the script doesn't seem to be moaning about a lack of flac etc.

Thanks9 months ago.PostedononI'd love some help if anyone has time.I'm trying to setup an Asterisk trunk using RasPBX/FreePBX where the port is sort of non-standard. I'm getting all kinds of errors and grief from Asterisk about how the port is disallowed and the hostname can't be resolved.if anyone has any tips on how to overcome this I'm all ears!! I've tried a lot of stuff and it doesn't seem to want to work.
HOWEVER, I CAN connect to this remote Asterisk instance using X-Lite OR using a SPA3000 or a PAP2T.11 months ago.PostedononSorry for the 'blast from the past' - but I'm curious why a lot of the modules are not pre-installed - (genuinely curious). Was it simply to reduce the download image file size, because of CPU concerns, or some other reason I haven't considered? Thanks12 months ago.PostedononAnyone know if this is possible?
Without an immense amount of faff? I would ideally like to do this but I gather it's not easy. Setting up two IPs on one Pi would be tricky for me without a command by command walkthrough! Thanks1 year ago.
